Brookhaven Nursing Home
Brookhaven Nursing Home is a purpose built fifty five bed home in County Kilkenny. The previous heating system consisted of conventional cast iron oil boilers linked to a high temperature radiator system. Eco Life were contacted by the owner with a view to providing a more efficient heating system with an emphasis on savings and better control. He realised that dependence on fossil fuel was unsustainable This provided Eco Life with their biggest challenge to date by incorporating heat pump technology into a radiator system in a commercial setting. The Eco Life Hybrid System because of its innovative design and intelligent control,integrated seamlessly into the existing plantroom. Since its installation, fossil fuel consumption has dropped by 65% and financial savings of over 50% have been achieved.
