Eco Life were contracted by Mulryan Construction to design, install, and commission their Hybrid 60-180 Series Heating System at Boyle Nursing Home Co.Roscommon. The building is a single storey,block construction sixty bed facility with a floor area of 4,000 metres squared. The owner Danny Mulryan wanted an efficient heating and hot water system that was to be cost effective, with low running costs, robust, and that could be monitored remotely. The Eco Life system met all these requirements and was capable of integration into the building programme and time constraints of the build. The high levels of insulation, combined with triple glazed windows and doors has ensured a building of first class energy efficiency. Space heating is provided by underfloor heating coils and all zones have individual smart sensors to ensure all temperatures meet HIQA stringent requirements. Domestic hot water is provided by the innovative Eco Future Tank. The Eco Life Hybrid Heating System has once again shown how innovative design, combined with proven technology, and proper installation are the keys to a successful, modern heating and hot water system.
